National Park Campground Reservation Service – Information for Tour Operators

Welcome!

Our reservation service is currently closed for the season.

However, some national parks offer campgrounds that are open throughout the winter, on a first-come, first-served basis.  Come and see your national parks at their most intimate: in winter.

During the summer season, Parks Canada offers the convenience of a campground reservation service at 18 national parks across Canada.

While designed for the general public, this pre-trip planning service will also be helpful to tour operators organizing customized independent tour itineraries for individual travel parties.

Although our goal is to offer an outstanding service for our visitors, we wish to inform tour operators that preferred rates are not available when making reservations on behalf of their clients.

During our 2009 operating season, campsites can be reserved through a 24-hour website and a 12-hour-a-day toll free number service that is available seven days a week, for a fee of $10.80 (CDN) for initial bookings, and $8.80 (CDN) for changes or cancellations.  Reservations can be made in more than 30 campgrounds among the list of national parks below.

Alberta: Banff, Elk Island, Jasper & Waterton
British Columbia: Kootenay & Pacific Rim
Manitoba: Riding Mountain
New Brunswick: Fundy & Kouchibouguac
Newfoundland: Gros Morne & Terra Nova
Nova Scotia: Cape Breton Highlands & Kejimkujik
Ontario: Bruce Peninsula
Prince Edward Island: Prince Edward Island
Quebec: Forillon & La Mauricie
Saskatchewan: Prince Albert

To see which of these parks offer winter camping opportunities, please visit www.pccamping.ca.

Please note that campground services may differ from summer to winter.  For more information about winter camping in any of Canada’s national parks, please visit the webpage of that park here, or call Parks Canada’s national information line:

Not all of Canada’s national parks provide the opportunity to reserve your campsite in advance.  Please visit www.pc.gc.ca/parks to learn more about the unique visitor opportunities available at each of our national parks.

Reservation launch dates for the 2009 camping season will be available in January at www.pccamping.ca.

We look forward to welcoming you back next season!
